Outline of Naver Search Engine Marketing Guideline

First of all , to excuse myself because of the hectic schedule in the office I could not post any article. 
My apologies.


I hope this article could help the people who plan / execute the Naver keyword ads.
Unlike Google, Naver has quite endless restriction and lesser (actually near to "0"zero) tools.
Without such tools, we cannot be insightful/ impressive Search Marker/ Expert.
I also have faced lots of difficulties because of that, hope someday soon Naver should be better.

1.    Keyword
The site which contains the relevant contents and such keywords only can be registered.
2.    Editorial
a)    Title of the ad copy
ü  It is a rule that company name on your site or site name should be displayed and indicated in the title
ü  It is not allowed to use same ad copy for same keywords bid / purchased by others. (each advertiser should have their own ad copies and don’t allow to use same or copied others)
ü  Keyword insertion function can be use only one time in the front or ending of the title.
ü  Length of the tile is limited to 15 characters in total including spaces regardless of the language. (applies same character limits to any languages like Korean/ English and so on)
ü  Various special characters like “*&%$ and any type of abbreviation is limited to use.
b)    Writing an ad copy
ü  Should be written based on the content of the registered site.
ü  There should be a comma and a space followed by a comma between description 1 and 2
ü  Each description part of the ad copy should be at least 20 characters to a maximum 45 characters. (Comma/ period and space inclusive regardless of the language.)
ü   Description should include more than 15 character of the information about the selling goods or services which is directly related to the keywords
ü  To use same description of other ads of same keywords and superlatives is limited.
ü  Contact information (ex. address, phone number, stock ticker, etc.) is limited to use.

c)    Display URL
ü  Display URL should be relevant to the domain
3.    Site
ü  Site must be accessible in all browsers.
ü  It will be declined to be registered if the site is under construction, any items / links in the site is not yet ready or links to images are broken.
ü  Once it is registered the site should not be redirect to any other page.
ü  We don’t register any site which install or transform user’s internet environment (ex. install desktop icons, change the default page, force the other site link, etc.) without user’s intention.
ü  Full Screen Mode site must include the site control options in the screen.
ü  The company name, name of the representative and business registration number must be included at the bottom of the main page for the online shopping site. For other cases, name of the person in charge of the site, phone number and email address should be included in the site for the same.

4.    Others
a)    Korean domain  -  Korean domain sites are also allowed to be registered but recommend you to use the URLs in the format of PUNY code or English domain as it is not well connected for certain web browser like Opera.
b)    Naver logo - site which uses the logo of Naver or unauthorized use of the Naver’s UI is not allowed.
c)    Unauthorized statement like Alliances, Naver certified, official partners, and advertising partners
